The 'Bad Romance' singer reportedly is worried that her 'ultra-traditional Italian Catholic family' will reject her if she chooses to date a woman.

Lady Gaga is reportedly terrified her family will disown her if she dates a woman. The "Telephone" singer, who last month claimed being gay is not a choice, is said to be struggling with her sexuality but is worried what her Catholic parents will think of her lifestyle choice.

"Gaga is unsure whether she wants to be with a man or a woman," a source said. "She's scared that if she falls for a woman, her family will reject her, because ultimately, they want her to settle down with a man. For all Gaga's success, her love life is a mess - and at the heart of the matter is the fact I think she's scared of allowing herself to fall in love with another woman."

Although the 'Poker Face' hitmaker, real name Stefani Germanotta, has spoken openly about previously being with other women, her family think it's all just part of her act. The source continued to LOOK magazine: "The big issue is that, despite her wild persona, Stef comes from an ultra-traditional Italian Catholic family."

"Stef told me her grandma is heartbroken that she hasn't settled down and got married yet. I think if she admitted she could love a woman and it's not just part of her act, they'd all be surprised. If Stef's family rejected her for falling for a woman, she'd be utterly heartbroken. She adores them, especially her younger sister Natalie."

Last month, the 24-year-old star said she believes homosexual men and women are "born" that way. She said, "There are transsexual women and transgender women and suddenly it becomes poisonous and something else because there are some people in this world that believe being gay is a choice. It's not a choice, we're born this way."

In response to speculation that the dance queen is in the running to record the theme song for the new 007 movie, Elton says, 'She's fantastic and it would be amazing to do a duet.'

There is a chance that Elton John could have another duet collaboration with Lady GaGa. The five-time Grammy-winning singer has sparked duet speculation after he uttered his response to recent rumor suggesting that GaGa is in the running to pen and record a theme song for the next Bond movie.

Having performed at the Grammys with GaGa and is set to make another performance with her in Rainforest Fundraising event on May 13 , the 63-year-old told U.K.'s The People magazine, "I'm really pleased that Lady Gaga is up for the theme tune." He added, "She's fantastic and it would be amazing to do a duet."

Britain's The Sun has come out with the news that Lady GaGa could follow the footsteps of such artists as Madonna and Alicia Keys in lending her vocal to James Bond theme song in late March. "Bond bosses are all huge Gaga fans, her sound and sense of drama make her the top choice - Gaga has the look as well as the voice to tackle a thundering ballad," a source said.

Though to be on the top of the studio bosses' list, the "Bad Romance" hitmaker still has several competitions in going ahead to secure the gig. Amy Winehouse, who was lined up to write the theme for "Quantum of Solace" before it went to Jack White and Alicia, is said to be in the running as well, and so does Michael Buble.

Janet Jackson has revealed that she has told the hard-working Lady GaGa to slow down. When chatting with MTV about the rising star recently, the 43-year-old songstress recalled what she has said to the younger singer, "She works so hard, and I told her, I think she needs to slow down just a little bit, take some time out for herself."

During the interview, Janet also declared her love to the "Bad Romance" singer. "I really love Gaga, yeah, and she's a sweetheart," she said. The Michael Jackson's sister went on to praise GaGa as saying, "it's not always the case when you meet them. You can enjoy their work, but it's not always such a - so pleasant when you get to know their personality, and she truly is a sweetheart."

In mid-March, GaGa has sparked concern over her health after she was seen on the brink of collapsing on-stage during her Auckland, New Zealand gig. Delivering her hit song "Bad Romance", the 23-year-old later on was seen sitting down on the steps before finishing the song while lying on her back. Her spokesperson Michael Coppel later blamed her near-passed out moment as result of fatigue and heat.

"It was warm at the show, she was tired and bit dehydrated by the end of a two-hour plus performance," Coppel stated. He went on to say that the "Poker Face" hitmaker pushed through the next performance without a hitch. "She performed the second Auckland show the following night without an issue and will be back in full match fitness for her first Australian show," so he claimed.

"Bad Romance" hitmaker Lady GaGa could follow the footsteps of such artists as Madonna and Alicia Keys in lending her vocal to James Bond theme song. According to Britain's The Sun, the 23-year-old dance electronica singer is in the running to pen and record a title track for the untitled Bond 23.

"Bond bosses are all huge Gaga fans, her sound and sense of drama make her the top choice - Gaga has the look as well as the voice to tackle a thundering ballad," a source informed the publication on the possibility of the Grammy winner landing the job. The source added, "She's a great songwriter too. This is perfect on every level."

It was too big for the stage in Australia but we are adapting the stage for our European dates so I'm excited about using it there."

Revealing in a recent interview she's been working on her next album, the 'Bad Romance' singer gushes, 'It's certainly my best work to date.'

Having been collecting a number of nominations and awards for her "The Fame" and "The Fame Monster" albums, Lady GaGa promises big things for her next effort. During an interview with 2DayFM, the "Bad Romance" hitmaker gushed that her upcoming third set will be her most impressive yet.

"I'm working on it now and I've already written the core of it so I'm just continuing to travel around the world and make something really great," the 23-year-old singer opened up in the interview about how far she has been in the process of the making of the album. The dance queen furthermore boasted, "It's certainly my best work to date."

"The Fame" has landed Lady GaGa a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album and a nomination for Album of the Year. The album also brought her a nod for Favorite Album at American Music Awards among others. "The Fame Monster", in the meantime, is nominated for International Dance Music Awards at International Dance Music Awards.
